yesterday ended the 24 hour competition for the number one relay in the nation. and $78,830 later UGA ended up on top! we raised $27,260, how awesome. relay is just around the corner and i cannot wait! next tuesday we start our best week ever, and while school is getting so crazy it's going to be so worth it knowing that i'm spending my free time fighting for an awesome cause! this year our new goal is $500,000. and i have feeling that we are going to be able to do this!

down in palm coast, florida for spring break. its a little chilly but that doesn't mean i'm not going to hit up the beach or the pool at some point soon. gotta watch the ACC tournament and the dawgs play today first. being here is making me crave summertime and nice spring weather. i want to stay at the beach forever...

and i need that dress, and this bathing suit...

i have some awesome news today! after a lot of stress and back and forth i have finally found out that i'm going to be spending my summer on the crystal coast at the best place in the world, camp seafarer! i cannot wait to be back. i know there are going to be many things about this summer that will be challenging as i am stepping into an admin role, but i get to work with the campers in a way i never have before and i could not be more excited about this! i know i'm going to come out of this summer with great friends, a lot of lessons learned and growth in myself.

a few words of advice and wishes for myself on my birthday:

in about an hour i'll be 21. i can't believe it! i don't really feel like its about to be my birthday, another year older. weird. i'm not really a huge birthday person, but i think the thing i like most about your birthday is all the love you get. i love that about your birthday. oh and the fact that you get to drink champagne...

... again, i still can't believe i'm going to be 21. i don't want to grow up but i'm so excited to grow up. it seems like so long ago, yet just yesterday, when i was running around in my tutu and dress up clothes. i have been so blessed, and while life is full of ups and downs, i am so thankful for the wonderful 21 years i have had! so thanks to everyone who has been a part of my life, this day is just as much about you helping me become the person i am as it is about me. i am so thankful for everyone who has been there for me and for all the wonderful opportunities God has given me!

its been a long day, but i completed my 5 day lesson plan and want to do cartwheels i'm so happy. then ran down to the track to workout, it felt so great being back there, and brought back a lot of great high school memories. for the first time in a while i felt really strong, it was a blessing because tonight i needed that feeling. i've been realizing a lot the past week or so, and really working on changing and opening my heart to the Lord. i'm trying not to stress out about the things i have to get done right, just taking everything one step at a time, and seeing how everything somehow always falls into place. headed to biblestudy now, can't wait to be surrounded by such a great group of girls! happy wednesday! oh and did i mention this weather is absolutely wonderful!

just watched the romantics, with some great friends. it was a much needed break from work and stress. lots and lots of laughter! it made me so excited for the period of out lives when everyone gets married.
