headed to camp this afternoon. its going to be a long day of school and flights but it'll all be worth it. i'm so excited to be back on the neuse river, and to see lots of my friends from the summer. celebrating 50 years of camp seafarer, what a special moment and what a special place!

i'm sitting outside enjoying the wonderful weather inbetween classes. i love fall, and even when i know its coming, the realization of it actually arriving always surprises me and makes me happy. sometimes in georgia it sneaks up on us and only stays for awhile. so i treasure days like this. when the breeze is light and cool, but the sun is shining and warms you up just perfectly if you need it. its fresh and beautiful. there's something calming about the rustle of leaves as the trees move.

for some reason its been a long, tiring tuesday. maybe its because its been so gloomy here for awhile. don't get me wrong i love this cool weather, but just not the clouds. really missing this summer today...

tonight i am thankful for great friends and God's great timing!

happy hump day. looking forward to the fact that tomorrow puts us one day closer to the weekend. hoping to make it to centergy tomorrow. need some stretching and clearing of the mind.

and i plan on being healthier as well. always makes me feel better. dove dark chocolate and pimento cheese do not cut it.

i'll be reminding myself of this as i balance my stresses.

and looking forward to some z's at the end of prek on friday.

happy tuesday! having a beautiful fun morning in pre-k. oh to be a four year old and so care free, where are greatest concern is which center are we going to pick today? i love the freedom and the art and the discovery that happens in our classroom. and i love my sweet children.

just got out of my language and literacy class. i'm loving it, and loving the opportunity to feel confused and free and excited about writing. i'm sitting outside eating lunch and its absolutely beautiful. its completely re-energizing me for my next class and the light breeze is putting me in the best mood. i love the beginning of fall.
