no worries. we're headed to st. simons in two short days! i can't wait to walk into our house on the beach. while summertime is clearly the best to be at the ocean, the sea is wonderful no matter what the weather. and i personally love a little chill in the air for strolls by the water, or lazy days wrapped in a blanket on the porch. i'm itching to get back.

i miss you.

hello perfect fall! today walking around campus i was really soaking up this great fall weather, recently it's been perfect. not too hot, not too cold, just right. with the best breeze ever. God really knows what he's doing. the trees are beginning to change and the leaves are starting to swirl around you when the wind blows, it's wonderful. i want to lay in the funny blue hammock in our front yard and fall asleep, breathing in the sweet fall air. i'm looking forward to the next few weeks full of beautiful autumn days. and with georgia winning again, things are really looking up.

these pictures remind me of you laura lilly. you and all your books. stacked up on your window sill in your periwinkle room. they also remind me of what i want to be, a better reader. i get too lazy, and would rather watch law and order reruns than curl up with a good book. but i'm going to work on this, because i miss reading. and these pictures are my inspiration....

yesterday i made pumpkin muffins. yum! i think the best part was that they made the house smell so good, it was perfect for fall. i even added chocolate chips to a few of them which is absolutely delicious. they are the best snack and perfect to grab before my 8 am. can't wait to make pumpkin bread once these run out.
